This message appears when the installed Converter Agent on the remote server and and Converter Manager are not the same version. This is often the case if you have upgraded Converter Manager to a newer version but still have older agents on some servers.

To resolve this:

1. Log in to the server that you want to convert as an Administrator.

2. Uninstall the VMware Converter agent.
   Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

3. Select VMware Converter from the list and uninstall it.

4. If you are prompted to reboot, click Yes.
